So I had pretty much settled on 'Aslan' as the name for my shiny new orange iPod but then it occurred to me that 'Nemo' was also a very appropriate name. And now I can't decide which I like better.

See, it's very important to me that the name fits the iPod's orangeness. :P

For those of you who read my post about a week ago regarding [info]kennahijja's fest idea where you write something you want to write and give it as a gift, here are more details:

A community has been created - [info]ownficfest. Explanations and such are offered on the info page, but there are no posts yet. Participants must be 18 and over, and I'll need to ask them about that because my birthday falls in the middle of the writing period. Sign-ups begin in June, assignments are given a few weeks later, fics are due in September with posting beginning in October.

No matter what language you speak, you've probably come across words or phrases in another language that sound better than their equivalents in your native tongue. What's your favorite word or phrase in a foreign language?

CHIMBOMBA.

You all should know this by now.

It's Nicaraguan-Spanish for "balloon".

.... and I had a lot of trouble resisting this writer's block.
